We heard your feedback. When you report a message as False Positive in Barracuda Sentinel, in addition to the submission confirmation, as the first step, you will also be asked to provide additional details as to why you think that message was false positive. In the future, we will provide the steps we took based on this additional information.
If you choose to provide these details, you will be redirected to a feedback response form to select a reason from a list of options or to type in a reason.

You can also click on the link "Report this is not phishing" from within the alert email you receive for an attack. This will follow the same workflow once you click on the link, where the form for additional feedback is presented.

Changed "Quarantined" to "Moved to Junk folder"

The action to move a malicious email to a user’s Junk folder was previously labeled as "Quarantined". This was confusing to many customers because the Barracuda Email Security Service also uses the same term. This action is now referred to as “Moved to Junk folder” to reduce confusion. There is no change in behavior.

New usage report

We just released a report showing which Office 365 mailboxes are licensed and monitored.

You can view the report by going to the dashboard page on Barracuda Sentinel. It displays a list of all the mailboxes (users and shared mailboxes) and whether they have an Exchange license entitelment or not, and whether it is being monitored and protected by Barracuda Sentinel or not.

It is possible that a mailbox does not have an Exchange license, but Barracuda Sentinel will still monitor and protect it. There is also the case where a mailbox is licensed but we are unable to monitor it. Those are rare.

We think the report will go a long way in helping you understand which mailboxes are being protected by Barracuda Sentinel.

Barracuda Sentinel allows you to enter your serial number

You can now enter your serial number and linking code through the UI. To do so, you can click on the three dots on the top right to enter their serial number and linking code. Once you do that, you’ll see a dialog box like below.

Please find your serial number and linking code from the email that you received when you purchased either Barracuda Sentinel, Barracuda Total Email Security or Barracuda Total Email Protection.
